Returns from Renewable Technology

The up-to-date heat pump heating systems installed in a Bruce Estates home are classed as 'renewable' and as such would be eligible for inclusion in the 'Renewable Heat Incentive' scheme which commences in June of 2011.
It is still not fully clear exactly what our purchasers will gain from the 'RHI', but more details are scheduled to be published in March/April. From information currently available, the process will be that our new houses will be analysed with regard to thermal performance and the capability of the heat pump system installed, which will result in a regular annual payment to the home owner.

To encourage participation in the scheme it appears that the intention is for the payment to be a relatively high percentage of the overall heating cost,
Bruce Estates are monitoring developments and will keep all our purchasers informed as soon as any new details emerge.
